Communication Engineering Lab


National Institute of Electronics established Communication Engineering lab with the vision to provide a Centre for Research and Development in the field of advance Radio Technologies, Optical Communication Systems, Smart Embedded devices and Advance Network Technologies to support the electronic Industry of Pakistan. Beside Research and Development the lab is also equipped with the state of the art testing equipment to provide RF/Microwave circuit testing, verification and Reverse Engineering of electronic cards/equipment.


R&D Capabilities

  • Embedded System (Customized Electronic Devices).

  • Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar (FMCW) for Agriculture.
  • Internet of Thing RF based Indoor Positioning System.
  • Flight Controller Indigenization.

Future Plans
  • Internet of Things based Smart Homes/Building concept to minimize the risk of COVID-19 Transmission.
  • Indigenization of Oxi-meter (Health and Monitoring).
  • Flight Controller Module for AI Based Quads.
